In an interview with Culto, a section of La Tercera, Argentine writer Claudia Piñeiro spoke about her new novel, *El canto invisible*, as well as Argentine politics. Regarding Javier Milei’s administration, she said she views it negatively and that the macroeconomic achievements touted by the ruling party were achieved by excluding many people from the system: retirees in dire straits, subsidies taken away from people with disabilities, and reduced funding for health, education, and culture.

She added that the president creates a climate of hostility with his insults toward journalists, cultural figures, and politicians, and she believes that this way of expressing himself deserves to be rejected by everyone, including those who voted for him. For the series, he spoke with young people who voted for Milei and found that many do not support his attacks on women or the LGBT community, and that they voted for him because of his economic model, though they hope those costs will be reversed.
