Milei Announces a Book for November and Warns of the Risk of a Coup in an Election Year

During a speech in Paris as part of “Argentina Week”—an event organized by the OECD to attract European investment—Javier Milei announced that in the second half of November he will publish a three-volume book about his administration, through which he aims to showcase his approach to politics and the results achieved. The Argentine president claimed that his government achieved more economic progress in two and a half years than the country did in the last century, and blamed “socialism” under previous administrations for Argentina’s economic crisis.
At the same event, Milei referred to next year’s presidential elections and warned of possible maneuvers to destabilize his government. He also spoke of a potential reelection, which he linked to a period of strong growth for Argentina, and criticized the immigration policies and the size of the state in European countries, contrasting them with the course that, he said, his administration is following.
