Milei shared a photo with a Chabad rabbi during Argentina Week in Paris

President Javier Milei met again with Rabbi Levi Matusof, the Chabad-Lubavitch representative to European institutions, during an event called “Argentina Week” held in Paris, just days after meeting with him at the Ohel of the Rebbe in New York. According to media reports, the event brought together Argentine officials, governors, investors, and business leaders from Argentina, France, and other countries.

Since the event coincided with the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, Matusof took the opportunity to help Jewish participants observe the mitzvah of the lulav and etrog. Milei later shared a photo of himself hugging the rabbi and chose a traditional Hasidic song—one typically danced to during Simchat Torah—as background music. The media outlet also noted that several Argentine participants highlighted their connection to Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt, the Chabad leader in Buenos Aires, and that Matusof congratulated the Argentine ambassador to France, Ian Sielecki, on organizing the event.
