Poll: Milei's approval rating improves slightly, but the government's and the economy's ratings worsen

A poll by Atlas Impulse and Bloomberg found that Javier Milei’s negative approval rating stood at 57.2% and his positive approval rating at 38.5%. His disapproval rating had peaked at 63% in April and has now fallen, though it remains above the levels recorded in 2024 and early 2025. Even so, the president remains among the country’s most highly regarded leaders.
The government’s approval rating, however, did not improve: disapproval reached 54.2%. Seventy-one percent described the economic situation as bad, 60% rated their personal finances as such, and 75% did the same for the job market, against a backdrop of 7.9% unemployment. The measures viewed most negatively were cuts to prescription drug coverage for retirees (73% opposed) and budget cuts to the agency for people with disabilities (71%).
