milei.news

The Ministry of Economy reported that the public accounts closed out September with a positive financial result of nearly one trillion pesos, more than triple the figure for the same month in 2025. Revenues grew 36.5% year-over-year, three percentage points above inflation, and primary spending rose 32.2%. The primary balance for the month, however, was lower than in August, when it had reached 1.9 trillion.

The positive trend continues on a year-to-date basis: between January and September, the primary balance totaled 13.7 trillion, 17.2% more than a year earlier, while the financial balance stood at 3.3 trillion, down 8.6%. The Javier Milei administration’s proposed 2027 budget forecasts a primary surplus of 1.5 percentage points of GDP and a financial surplus of 0.2 for 2026 and 2027.
