An advisor to Milei watched Bolsonaro's departure for Miami from Puerto Iguazú

The operation that took former Brazilian presidential candidate Bolsonaro from Brasília to Miami after he lost the election to Lula da Silva had support from Javier Milei’s inner circle, according to a reconstruction by The Wall Street Journal reported by Montevideo Portal. Santiago Caputo, a close aide to the Argentine president, tracked the movements from Puerto Iguazú and maintained direct contact with Eduardo Bolsonaro.
The journey included decoy vehicles that left the residence in different directions, false reports about his whereabouts, and a land transfer to the Argentine border. A private plane took off from Puerto Iguazú, made a stopover in Guayaquil, and landed in Miami-Opa Locka. In the United States, Donald Trump authorized their entry and Marco Rubio arranged the visas; the family entered on a humanitarian permit valid for one year.
