El Mundo covered the clash with London over the Malvinas Islands and Milei's attacks on Lula and Sánchez

The Spanish newspaper *El Mundo* reported on the latest escalation of tensions between Buenos Aires and London over the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands. According to the report, the British government summoned Argentine Ambassador Mariana Plaza to deliver a formal protest, after Milei ordered the Foreign Ministry to initiate international arbitration under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, with the aim of halting the Sea Lion oil project and future exploration authorizations on the continental shelf claimed by Argentina.
The publication also covered the interview the president gave to the French weekly Le Point before traveling to Paris, where he is participating in a week dedicated to Argentina and a meeting with Emmanuel Macron. There, Milei lashed out at the UN, at Pedro Sánchez and his economists, and at Lula da Silva: “Lula is a thief!” he declared.
