Milei went to the OECD to seek investment and offered Argentine natural gas to Europe

The Argentine president traveled to Paris to lead a week dedicated to his country at OECD headquarters, an event designed to attract capital from the continent. According to the Paraguayan newspaper ABC, he stated there that his administration would not rest until Argentina ranked first in the world in economic freedom, and he positioned himself as a future energy supplier to Europe, promising large volumes of liquefied natural gas. “Europe has learned how costly it is to depend on unreliable suppliers,” he said.
The newspaper reported that Milei reviewed figures from the incentive program for large-scale investments, noting approved projects totaling 45,000 million and proposals amounting to 200,000 million dollars; he previewed a regulation to attract data centers and artificial intelligence; and he rejected devaluation as a shortcut to gaining competitiveness. He concluded with the promise that, if re-elected, the old French saying about the wealth of Argentines will come true again.
